Institutionalized Life

Institutionalized life
regulated, conglomerated
hated.
Promises of a better existence
consumer-ate, suffocate.
Illusion of privacy, invasion of eyes
voice speak to hear not to listen.
No sugar today for your coffee
cutbacks, insecurity, fear
Quiet your glucose response and yourself.
Un
believ
able demands.
Everyone for Everything
Hushed...
deadlines, idiotic smiles
Futility of individual
identity clouded by norms
Sanctions
Institutions melted into docile bodies
required.
For system function
System crash too much irrelevance in the midst of
this craft
Craved inequalities into culture
You
are
Insubstantial. You are in demand.
Powerpointing the bulletized
tasks, demands regulated
Conglomerated masses living an
institute,
institution,
institutionalized failure.

Spiraling thoughts expressed in a language of measured roles, values of
resistance, surveillance, regulated competition. Stratified neighbors
speak in low tones, despising species of power. To do list keeps
distracted. Fallen must now awaken with a realization:
The self is automatic
Appropriately procreate...
What is choice?
Neural connections in the brain strengthened by frequency of activation?
Activation outside of stimulus, illusion of control
Context determines content
Puppet on a string, Dance!
Enjoy.
I wish it was enough...
ENOUGH.
Separate the individual from the collective
Dismantle the self as an entity
The self: correlations power and resistance
Choice.
The creation of artful expression,
authentic.
irrelevant?
An institutionalized life
Disconnect
Impossible equality, struggle against the struggle-less
economic bodies invested, malignant malaise
Futility is resistance, spreading to consume
Consumer, production of needs by faceless skinless systems
Exhausted.
Aren't we all committed?
Promised to the institutions auctioned off as
Irrelevant bodies.
Somebodies.
